Ben Eine

Ben Eine (born Ben Flynn) is a London-based street artist born 1970. In 2003, Eine collaborated with Banksy to set up the Pictures on Walls gallery which was influential to the commercial success of both artists. His international acclaim reached new heights in 2010 when his piece, Twenty First Century City was presented to President Barack Obama while on a state visit to the United Kingdom.

Eine is best known as a letterform artist and is regarded as a forerunner in the exploration of typography in contemporary street art. Using distinctive blocked letter forms, Eine’s typographic relates back to his earliest foray into creating and throwing up tags on London streets. Eine’s trademark colorful letterform works can be found in cities around the world. He is currently working out of London, England.
