Renowned art gallery opening its first Canadian location in Toronto

Daily Hive, Toronto. May 30, 2018.

An internationally renowned art gallery specializing in Pop and Street Art movements is about to open its first Canadian location in Toronto.

Founded in 1978 by Dominic J. Taglialatella, the eponymous art gallery has since expanded to locations in New York City, Palm Beach, and Paris.

Now Toronto is set to join the club with an outpost launching in partnership with Charles Khabouth and Danny Soberano of Ink Entertainment.

“As art lovers and avid collectors for many years, venturing into this space is a very natural progression for the company,” says Khabouth in a news release. “What you will see is unlike anything we have in the city – the art is modern, daring and makes a statement. We will be unveiling an unbelievable piece this summer that I trust will be one of Toronto’s most Instagrammed places.”

Debuting this June adjacent to newly opened Italian restaurant Sofia in Yorkville, Canada’s first Taglialatella Galleries are being billed as “an elixir of fine art, design and entertainment, transcending the usual gallery experience.”

Taglialatella Galleries is best known for displaying a variety of works from distinguished artists including Banksy, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Mr. Brainwash, Keith Haring, Damien Hirst, Robert Indiana, Invader, Jeff Koons, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, and many others.
